A pictorial guide to walks  in the beautiful Irish county of Wicklow
And a pleasant chat along the way

Glendalough 2 From the Upper Carpark to the Miner's Village

The route for this walk is up the glen on a slight climb, along the right side of the upper lake and then along a boggy area, finally finishing alongside the spoils of mining at the top of the glen. The trail although gravel and mud is good for all of the route, the likelihood of wet feet is remote. The return is the same route as the outward journey unless the far harder and longer circular walk around the upper lake is taken ( walk 3).
