The route of the walk is from the lower car part, crossing over the river at the back and travelling along the Green Road passing the monastic settlement, the lower lake and the upper car park (all on the right). Turning right and following the shoreline of the upper lake, turning right again before the public road and continuing the walk on the other side of the lower lake on the raised wooden walkway and completing the walk on the Green Road back to the lower car park.
